Game/Life Balance Australia – Episode 16 – The Fantasy of Being

AC is out of town, and also the country, but the show must go on! This week Rob is joined by our favourite Canuck, special guest Steven Eidher of Capmax Gaming. So join us as we plumb the depths of Spelunky, our featured game for this week, as well as a bunch of other topics too, from decoder wheels in 80s PC games to the video game equivalent of comfort food. Also don’t miss the quiz segment, where Rob unleashes possibly the most diabolical quiz ever made on his unsuspecting guest. Yes the quiz was intended to break AC’s heart, mind and soul, but seeing as he was out of the country Rob chose to inflict it on his guest instead because he’s just that sort of person. Game/Life Balance Australia: have you had your prostate checked recently?!

Game/Life Balance Australia – Episode 15 – Stream of Nonsense #3 – Limp radical sect

It’s Stream of Nonsense time, and Rob’s back from the hospital to share stories of all his recent medical issues, from ulcers in his throat to slicing off the tip of his left thumb. And if that doesn’t sound particularly amusing, don’t despair because we also discuss other fun topics such as AC breaking his MAME cabinet yet again, Rob’s flirtatious love-life in Stardew Valley, succulent Chinese meals, and brilliant ideas for advertising our podcast and growing our listener base. I give this episode one and a half thumbs up!

Game/Life Balance Australia – Episode 14 – Americans have six fingers

Rob is dead. Or at least, too ill to podcast… which is basically the same thing. So in his stead AC brought in Cody Gough, host of Game/Life Balance US, to play Second Monkey in this extra-long, extra-rambling and extra-annoying episode! So join our two intrepid hosts on a tour through our featured game Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom, as well as Dungeons & Drag Queens, Japanese culture, The Rescuers Down Under, the depravity of retrogaming and the depths of AC’s perverse sense of humour. It’s a living nightmare that you won’t be able to wake up from!
